The AI METHODS team has participated in the SESAR Innovation Days in Seville, Spain. A key event in the aviation field where projects funded by the SESAR Joint Undertaking gather annually to share progress and disseminate the results of their research.
The event takes place this year from 27 to 30 November, and has been organised by the University of Seville in the Faculty of Engineering.
AI Methods attended on behalf of the European KAIROS project as its coordinator. KAIROS aims to develop an AI-based weather forecasting platform to improve the predictability of weather phenomena and anticipate their influence on aviation. AI Methods is an essential part of this project, being in charge of coordinating the industrial application of the research results.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this innovation network and to have enjoyed this exchange experience with other key players in the transformation of the air traffic landscape.
